Camp Lickalotta was the creation of open lesbian couple, Nancy Leedy and Joanie Beasley (left). They were hoping the camp would be a safe, peaceful and non-threatening place for LGBT people to enjoy the outdoors. That has not worked out as they planed, at least for now. Last month Leedy and Beasley were evicted from the place they loved and called home, Golden Valley Campground in rural Shelby, North Carolina.
